Letter to a Student blog header

There’s nothing we love more than receiving handwritten letters from students.

Big thanks to student Zachary, age 9, for pointing out a mistake in our Handwriting Without Tears Cursive Success student editions!

He wrote us a letter (in cursive!) and let us know “The Thailand flag is where the Taiwan flag should be, and the Taiwan flag is where the Thailand flag should be. The reason I found the error is probably because of my 12-year-old brother, who LOVES geography, and because of my aunt, uncle, and three cousins in Thailand, whom we skype often.”

Wow! We’re so impressed with both Zachary’s tidy cursive writing and his meticulous eye for detail. Our founder, Jan Z. Olsen was thrilled to receive the letter and wrote the following response (click to enlarge).

Thanks again for pointing out the error and taking the time to write to us!
