Happy Occupational Therapy Month!

It is Occupational Therapy Month! Throughout the month of April, Learning Without Tears will be celebrating occupational therapists. This month is dedicated to spreading both awareness and appreciation for those who assist others in their pursuit of daily success and goal execution.  We celebrate the men and women across the nation who help people of all abilities, backgrounds, and age groups live life to the fullest.

When it comes to children, occupational therapists foster progression in areas important to their development such as playing, learning and socializing.  Many pediatric occupational therapy sessions involve play-based exercises with fun, multisensory tools that help students gain physical dexterity and ease when it comes to activities like handwriting.  Sessions also teach useful social-emotional and self-care skills using song, dance, art and many other gratifying methods.

Learning Without Tears fully supports occupational therapists in their quest to make learning everyday skills both simple and enjoyable for their clients.  We offer various resources including multisensory tools, student editions, webinars, workshops and more designed with occupational therapists in mind.  We are happy to help occupational therapists reach their maximum potential so that they can in turn do the same for their clients.

Follow us on our social media pages as we celebrate OTs all month long including the launch of our Handwriting Without Tears Lessons in Action Video Contest which includes fun prizes. Learning Without Tears sends a huge thank you to the occupational therapists across the globe who help us to live life to the fullest! #LWTAprilOT
