Happy (Almost) National Handwriting Day

This year we are going to celebrate our favorite holiday by launching a new program, Supporting out Sailors at Sea. By combining handwriting and gratitude, we have created not only a special celebration of handwriting, but also a way to personally reach out and thank our deployed military personnel.

After choosing a ship to adopt, the USS John C. Stennis, we are asking classrooms around the country to send letters of gratitude to the men and women aboard. This is an exciting opportunity for students in grades K–5 to practice handwriting, letter formatting, and to express their gratitude to the sailors on our adopted ship.

Stay tuned for updates from the ship, letters from students, and pictures and videos from our ship.

Interested? Still need to register? There's still time to sign up and stay in touch!

We are so happy to bring joy and handwriting fun to students in classrooms around the country and smiles to our deployed military personnel.
