Celebrate New Friends Day with a Free Writing Activity

new friends day header

Studies show that friendship is linked to the development of many positive qualities such as increased overall happiness, better health, and greater cognitive dexterity. National New Friends Day is all about expanding these types of attributes in your life and in the lives of those around you.

To help students learn more about the beauty of expanding social horizons, we have created a free Building Writers core writing activity download that you can share with your students. And in honor of National New Friends Day on October 19, you can share this with your teacher friends—new and old—too!

Happy National New Friends Day from your friends at Learning Without Tears!
